ABOUT US

Frazier Farm is situated on 60 beautiful acres in the historic town of Woodbury, CT. The facility offers quality boarding, training, riding lessons, summer camps and workshops, as well as a wide variety of shows which the farm hosts every year.

The farm is most well-known for its many opportunities for your everyday riding. When riding at Frazier Farm, the options are endless. The farm offers an enclosed outdoor ring with stonedust footing, a second stonedust arena, dressage ring, grass jump field, as well as the five rolling fields that make up the XC course. It can be guaranteed that you and your horse will never get bored.

While most of the training is centered around eventing and combined training,

all disciplines are welcome.

SERVICES

The environment at Frazier Farm is very diverse. The farm boasts a wonderful mix of adults and children; accomplished and amateur, who all share the same passion. And while show days are busy and bustling, there are also plenty of opportunities to enjoy some peace and quiet in a serene setting.

Boarding

The main barn includes 13 box stalls, feed room, and heated tack room. Full board is $750 per month and includes the following:       

  • Box stall with pine wood shavings

  • Daily individual turnout

  • Grain feed twice daily

  • Quality hay four times daily

  • Daily night check

  • Scheduling of routine farrier & vet visits

 

Pasture board is also offered at $450 per month and includes the following:

  • 24/7 turnout with a group in large field

  • Access to large run-in shed

  • Constant access to grass pasture or hay, depending on the season

  • Scheduling of routine farrier & vet visits

Lessons

Frazier Farm caters to a wide range of riders. The clientele is a wonderful mix between children and adults and from green to quite accomplished riders and anywhere in-between. If you do not have your own horse, Frazier Farm is home to some quiet, safe, experienced school horses.

Lessons are available as private (45 min.), semi-private (2 riders, 1 hour) or group (3 or more riders). Group lessons run anywhere from 1 hour to 1½ hours depending on the size of the group.

Summer Camp

What better way for a kid to spend the summer than at the barn! Frazier Farm offers summer camps throughout the months of July and August. 

Beginner rider camps at Frazier Farm run Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm. Cost is $325 per week. Discounts are available for siblings or riders who participate for multiple weeks. This camp is appropriate for kids ages 6 - 12. Children will learn basic riding skills as well as day to day horse care and handling. Fun games and activities are built in to ensure your child has a great time and comes home tired!

Cross Country Schooling

The XC course at Frazier Farm includes natural logs and portable jumps suitable for greenies up through novice. The terrain is rolling hills with some flat spaces to hack. There is a friendly ditch in the back field that is great for introducing young horses or riders. We have a few bank options, as well as some great options for schooling in and out of woods lines.
